SUPERHEROES SUMMER CAMP
English SUPERHEROES SUMMER CAMP in Moscow is a summer programme for children from 7 to 14 years old in English with native speakers. The whole day in the camp from 9.00 to 18.00 is conducted in English – children learn and discuss facts of geography, history, science and art of different countries of the word. Active games and sports outside make our summer the best balance of learning and fun.

OUR DAY
We are busy from 9.00am till 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Our morning starts creatively with DESIGN TIME where we make objects of art from a variety of unusual materials. Then we make our super breakfast OURSELVES and it comes from the country of the week. During the day we research the life of a famous person and the country they lived in and present our findings as an acting, video or art project to the world. We spend a lot of time outside – playing games, doing quests and making friends.

We are meeting Albert Einstein and travelling to Switzerland to practice our non-standard mathematical and logical skills.

We are travelling to Medieval Italy to meet Leonardo Da Vinci and try out our engineering and inventor’s skills.
Jackie Chan – China
Jackie Chan took his roots from China – a country with a rich culture and traditions. Travelling there and learning the origins of Tai Chi is what we will do.
Sergey Diagilev – France
Sergey Diagilev was the person to promote Russian Art in Paris, France. Can we do the same? Stage settings, poster design, entertainment and art – we will work in show business!
Anna Pavlova – Russia
Anna Pavlova was one the first Russian Ballet stars to become known around the world. We will see what it takes to become a ballet star – stretching and strength, will power and a musical ability. All of this will happen in Russia.
Walt Disney – USA
We are going to the USA to see how a kingdom of Disney was created – we learn to come up with inspirational business ideas and great animation. We would also enjoy life in the USA – nature, creativity and business innovations.
Antonio Gaudi – Spain
Architecture requires spatial thinking, mathematics as well as creativity and spirit. The way Antonio Gaudi established Spain as the cradle of unusual nature-inspired architecture is truly extraordinary. We will travel to Spain with its cuisine, dance and music. Antonio Gaudi’s work will be our inspiration to create extraordinary buildings!
William Shakespeare – England
William Shakespeare – the founder of a new kind of theatre – a theatre of human lives, joys and tragedies is our path to the culture of England and its long-standing traditions.
Van Gogh – The Netherlands
We love painting – just look at our Art School! Van Gogh has always been one of our favourite artists and we will be happy to explore his Dutch roots and travel to the Netherlands. Expect amazing works of art from your child!
Usain Bolt – Jamaica
It might be a bit hard for us to run as fast as Usain Bolt but we will do our best athletics. We will also try to understand how Jamaica created such outstanding athletes!
Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior – Brazil
Brazilian football players made their country an unsurpassed leader in football. Meet Neymar Jr – a Brazilian football star. Learning the tricks of running, teamwork, ball skill and winner mind is what we do this week. All of this will take us to Brazil – a country of rainforests, exotic animals, sun and fun!
Zen – Japan
Zen is a way to unite with nature through meditation and work with natural materials. Japan with its Zen culture where nature and natural materials have a soul and create a world for a person to build their life will be our inspiration this week. Japanese food, traditions, costumes and most importantly woodwork skills will keep us busy.
Mahatma Gandhi – India
India is a country where a lot of well-known intellectual games originated. Chess is one of them. Mahatma Gandhi is the person who reflected the peace-making Indian mentality and brought the spirit of India to the world. We will experience Indian cuisine, music, dance and its colourful culture.
