On the seventh day of our Japanese trip, we visited one of the oldest parks in Japan, Nara Park, founded in 1880 and located at the foot of Mount Wakakusa.
Sika deer are found throughout the city of Nara and its many parks and temples like Tōdai-ji, as they are considered to be the messengers of the Shinto gods.
They are so cute – we talked to them and even feed them.
