Our children begin to study physics and chemistry from the 7th grade, and at this moment a lot depends on the teacher, whether the students will be interested and whether they will understand these subjects. At this age, children need to be motivated to study, therefore our teachers try to make chemistry and physics more interesting, understandable and more logical than in textbooks.
Just theory is not interesting for children. Practice is very important:
Collect molecular models
Conduct an experiment
Mix different ingredients
The more practical classes you take in subjects such as physics and chemistry, the more confident you can be that children are not bored.
At @MCS_British_School we try to avoid formal memorization by making our lessons as interesting and effective as possible.
