MCS Career Camp
Summer MCS Career Camp offers an exciting programme for school kids from 12 till 16 years old. It will give an opportunity to try oneself in different professions: from IT to Stand-up. Every day our professional teachers will discuss different business processes from all points of view: EQ and soft skills, business presentations and pitches, meetings and debates, problem solving and decision making in challenging situations. MCS Career Camp – It’s a fun and interesting time in the English speaking environment with lots of new friends!

We will analyse how automation works in a regular supermarket, predict the future of jobs that may be replaced by AI, learn to code for a robot, create automated processes for everyday tasks — such as saving and sending messages and creating daily schedules — and even build our own app.

We will conduct lab pollution assessments and assess how eco-friendly supermarkets are, plant our smart garden and present our interactive earth installation. We will invent eco-targeted technologies and participate in a nature photography challenge and exhibition. We will even stage an eco-fashion show and make an environmental documentary.

We learn how to create our personal brand and develop a brand identity for a product, inspire fandom and tell engaging stories, generate speed content, viral videos and catchy headlines. Does clickbait get you far in brand promo? The best creators will be awarded in our Friday Creator Award night! Working with video, sound, podcasts and content is the skill focus for the week.

Set up your own restaurant from scratch – interior, name, concept and branding. Try out your fine dining etiquette and hold chef battles, create dishes from mystery box ingredients and analyse current restaurant market concepts. We will learn food photography and make a cooking show video.

We will explore various types of games, create our own game world and characters, learn game programming in Python and practice interactive storytelling, work with music and sound effects for games and explore careers in game design. We will learn how to create and maintain a game community and how game addiction is created.

We will work for magazines, newspapers, create our own site and make a news channel. We will write for advice columns and create music mashups for our media channels. Daily photo and news challenges and a multimedia project and a photo exhibition at the end of the week!

We are going to create and present an ideal classroom and a school of the future – make all our dreams come true! Each of us will teach a lesson on the subject of their choice – it can be anything at all. We will become professionals in city planning – ready to upgrade a city area or hack a park for new businesses. We will create city tours for tourists and make a model of a city area to redesign.
